The Spider is the most feared assassin in the South! I found this book series by accident when looking for something interesting for my daughter to read. It’s a unique take on a kick ass female assassin who is also gifted with ice and stone magic. Once you read Jennifer Estep first book, Spider’s bite, you will be hooked. Jennifer has this gift this unique talent of mixing real world places seamlessly with the one she has created. As it turns out this series is not for kids, I would say it is for the young adult, you will have to read it to know what I mean. I absolutely love the narrator’s voice and tone. Gin, spelled just like the liquor perspective, creates emotional tension, nail-biting excitement and delicate humor will leave you hungry wanting more!
